HIKEIT XS a Powerhouse!
The XS has a clever PCB module that updates the points of reference for a vehicle's throttle mapping. Throttle Lag is added by manufacturers for a number of reasons including fuel economy. The HIKEit XS maintains the standard parameters of your vehicle; however, introduces a sharper throttle curve (or smoother when in 4x4 Eco mode) and reduces the "dead zone" in your cars accelerator pedal.

HIKEit’s Auto IQ Control Mode lets the driver set and forget while the XS learns the driver’s behaviour and selects the mode from the best of 50 mode settings based on the current driving situation. Generally, fly-by-wire pedal accelerator systems have two sensors that measure both how hard and far the pedal; the XS tweaks these for a more enjoyable, safer and fuel saving drive.

By entering the Anti-Theft function with your security pin, will lock the vehicle’s throttle and will not allow the thief to accelerate or drive off as when under lock mode
HIKE IT’s Performance mode (with 10 level settings) is not for the ‘Sunday driver’. HIKE IT setting 1 is classified as intense while setting 7-10 is like ‘launch mode’. Touching the mode button while in any mode will activate ‘Over-Take mode’ that will instantly put the XS into HIKE IT Mode setting 10.
HIKE IT’s Cruise mode (with 10 level settings) is a toned-down version of the popular sport/tow mode which will give you more of a boost than your cars original setting. It’s perfect for everyday driving that won’t blow out your fuel bill and knock your socks off..
HIKE IT’s Sport/Tow mode (with 10 level settings) is a fun way to get around without the adrenalin boost of HIKE IT mode. It’s perfect when towing anything and will adjust perfectly to the application at hand. After Auto IQ Mode, Sport/Tow mode is the most favoured.
Economy Mode (E) Economy mode has 10 settings that reduce the response from the pedal which will improve fuel economy and with a dampened response it can be particularly handy in situations such as driving off road, towing, beach driving etc.

Hikeit XS throttle controllers have Auto and Manual settings designed to work better for Automatic or Manual transmissions. The Automatic setting is slightly more responsive on initial throttle application, but this can often be too much initial response for either Manual transmissions or Automatic transmissions with 8 or more gears so experiment and find a setting that suits you and your vehicle.
The Hikeit XS throttle controller is suitable to be used across a number of vehicles, both Petrol and Diesel engines, as well as turbo, supercharged and naturally aspirated engines are covered. The Hikeit XS modifies the throttle map for most electronic throttles regardless of engine type.
The Hiket XS can usually be installed into a vehicle in 2 minutes. No tools are required, no cutting of wires and no mechanical knowledge is needed. We like to think Hikeit XS is one of the World’s easiest to install Plug and Play device designed to connect with original style connectors and integrate seamlessly. Once installed, the unit is self powered and sticks to your dashboard wherever you choose with the in-built double sided tape on the unit.(Additional Mounting Clip Is Included)
We get asked this a lot! Short answer is No!
Hikeit throttle controllers amplify the signal to the engine management upon first application of the throttle.
This helps eliminate throttle lag which is when you put your foot down and there’s a minor delay. Most people think this is just one of their engine’s characteristics, but with an Hikeit XS installed, you’ll soon see your engine has far more response than before. Another way you’ll enjoy faster throttle response is through adjustment of the pedal stroke.
In Sport and Hikeit mode you’ll have to use less throttle to get the same response as before. This allows you to gently feather the throttle on the motorway instead of holding it down to keep a constant speed. Great for towing and everyday driving.
AFTERMARKET CRUISE CONTROL – We have never had an issue with a cruise control system not working seamlessly with our Hikeit XS. This includes units that intercept signals and connect directly with the fly by wire system.
ECU TUNE / REFLASH – Yes, Hikeit throttle controllers work great when ECU’s have been reflashed or retuned because there‘s even more response difference when installed. Sometimes throttle parameters have been changed but the Hikeit XS still provides a useful performance difference.
PERFORMANCE CHIPS – Yes, Chips adjust air/fuel ratio’s, available boost and fuel rail pressure. Add an Hikeit XS and your performance gains can be felt sooner.
The Hikeit XS Throttle Controllers has a dedicated Towing Mode and is the perfect companion when towing by helping your vehicle get up to speed from a standing start with less effort and therefore placing less strain on your engine and using less fuel.
The Hikeit XS only uses already available power which is reserved by the manufacturer. As Hikeit XS will only activate when you need the power (e.g. when applying power, Hikeit XS will not work when idling). Your car’s machine-driven parts (e.g. the engine, clutch, transmission, brakes) are only pushed to the limits which are appropriate not beyond. The security functions and safety of the engine and the vehicle’s ECU do not get changed at all or get turned off. It’s out of the question for Hikeit XS to push your vehicle beyond its factory limits.
